C5CM has developed C5 Training (RTO 46347) to support the emergency and incident response training needs of our clients.
C5 Training is an emergency expert training organization. We develop and enhance an organisations management , staff knowledge and skills in managing and responding to emergencies at an organizational, regional and site level both nationally and internationally.
Our innovative training courses and exercises provide organisations with an assurance that their policies, procedures and people are prepared and trained to meet the challenges and opportunities emergencies represent.
Our courses both accredited and non-accredited apply to a range of emergencies in a range of industries. These emergencies include natural disasters, security and safety emergencies, health and medical emergencies, mass evacuation events and complex coordination of multisite, multi-location emergency response.
CASE STUDIES
International Emergency Management Project
Since 2015, C5 has been engaged by 3 large multinational companies to provide emergency management consulting services within regional large scale infrastructure projects.
These projects included developing strategic governance and policy for the organisations international sites, developing procedures covering emergencies, incident management, contingency and crisis management. C5 was required to develop Emergency Control Organisation plans, procedures and provide training and SME services to management during emergencies.
C5 provided nationally accredited training to several thousand staff and contractors in Emergency Management, Incident supervision and crisis response.
APEC Training
For a major APEC meeting in 2018, C5, through Controlled Outcomes, delivered a comprehensive training program for 184 police officers.
The training focused on use of force, close personal protection techniques, restraints, motorcade operations, and firearms. It represented one of the largest private training initiatives of its kind.
Government Training
C5 has provided training to immigration, police, corrections, and other government agencies.
These programs were developed through detailed training needs analysis and ongoing client engagement to ensure outcomes were delivered on time and within budget.
